Thermowood and available colours

Thermowood, a popular choice for hot tubs, is not only renowned for its durability and resistance to moisture but also offers a stunning range of colour options that enhance the aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces. The thermal modification process enhances the wood's natural hues, resulting in rich tones like deep browns, grey or black. These options allow homeowners to select a finish that complements their style and landscape. Whether you prefer the classic look of dark, warm wood or the lighter, more contemporary appeal of a sun-kissed shade, there is a thermowood colour to suit every preference. The versatility of thermowood, coupled with its sustainable properties, makes it an excellent choice for creating a relaxing and beautiful haven right in your backyard.

Thermowood is an ideal choice for those seeking durability and aesthetics. This heat-treated wood is resistant to moisture, preventing warping and decay over time, which ensures your hot tub retains its beauty and functionality for years. Thermowood's natural insulation properties help maintain water temperature, allowing for energy-efficient heating and reducing overall operating costs. Additionally, the smooth surface and attractive grain of thermowood enhance the visual appeal of any outdoor space, creating a luxurious ambience for relaxation. Furthermore, this eco-friendly material is sourced sustainably, making it a responsible choice for environmentally-conscious consumers.

We use high-quality materials, including thermowood, to make the tubs.

Thermowood is essentially natural wood, processed with heat (180–215°C), steam and water in specifically adjusted and controlled heating cycles. Being entirely ecological and free of any chemicals, the treatment process irreversibly modifies the physical and chemical properties of timber resulting in extremely durable and exceptionally sustainable material, friendly to both humans and nature. The modification also improves its dimensional stability and thermal insulation qualities.

Unlike ordinary wood, thermowood contains no natural resins or formaldehyde. It has a pleasant scent, its weight is lighter, and its texture is subtler and smooth to the touch.
